University of Washington at Seattle announced that it will coordinate a research for development of human heart cloned from patient's own cells. The bioengineering project that counts with NIH support, will involve 50 scientists of 9 university's departments, as well as specialists of 5 private industry labs & from University of Toronto (Canada). Initially the research will require an investment of US$ 10 million per year.
