- Casting base alloy contg Sn (1-4%); Zn (9-15%); P (0.01-0.2 Fe (0.01-0.8%); Ni (0.001-0.5%); Cu (Bal.) - Homogenizing at least once for > 2 hours at 1000-1450F - Rolling to final gauge including at least one process anneal for > one hour at 650-1200F - Slow cooling - Stress relief annealing at final gauge for > one hour at 300- 600F thereby obtaining a Cu base alloy including phosphide particles uniformly distributed throughout the matrix, wherein said particles having a finer comp with a size 50-250 angstroem & coarser comp with size 0.075-0.5 microns |
