Method for detection of anti-HTG autoantibody in sample (a) Combining - Said test fluid sample - Polyclonal human anti-HTG autoantibody first reagent - HTG prepn. second reagent wherein one of above is labeled reagent & the other is immobilized on solid phase under conditions such that anti-HTG autoantibody in sam ple if any binds to HTG in HTG prepn, thereby reducing extent of binding of HTG to polyclonal human anti-HTG au toantibodies in first reagent compared to extent of binding of HTG to polyclonal human anti-HTG autoantibody in first reagent in absence of sample (b) Determn amount of labeled reagent immobilized on solid phase by immobilized reagent (c) Correlating amount of labeled reagent immobilized by immobilized reagent, if any, in presence of sample with amount of labeled reagent immobilized by immobilized reagent under same conditions in absence of sample; whereby anti-HTG autoantibodies in sample, if any is de tected |
