Method for making a lithographic printing plate comprising - Mounting an imaging element comprising (i) on a hydrophi lic surface of a lithographic base an image forming layer comprising a hydrophobic TP polymer particles capable of coalescing under the influence of heat & dispersed in a hydrophilic binder & (ii) compd capable of converting light to heat, said compd being included in said image forming layer or layer adjacent thereto, on a print cylinder of prin ting press - Image-wise exposing said imaging element by means of laser or LED - Developing a thus obtained image-wise exposed imaging element by supplying an aq dampening liquid & subse quently ink to said image forming layer while rotating said print cylinder |
