Method for destroying microbes within water lines conveying water from a container to dental handpieces & within any of the channels of the dental handpieces conveying water by subjecting the microbes to presence of ozone, comprising - Providing source of O contg gas under pressure in range of 30 - 40 psig - Generating ozone from the gas under pressure within UV opaque member to produce ozone enriched gas, said step of generating being performed within the container - Conveying ozone enriched gas into water within the contai ner to be directed to the dental handpieces & to pressurize water at pressure above ambient pressure - Entraining ozone enriched gas in water to produce ozone enrichedwater - Further conveying ozone enriched water through the water lines to the handpieces & through channels of the handpie ces to destroy any microbes that come in contact with the ozone in ozonated water |
