Method for loading liposomes with charged material - Prepn liposome prepn including liposomes having an ion concn gradient capable of generating a transmembrane potential having an orientation which will load the charged material into the liposomes - Dehydrating the liposome prepn - Storing - Rehydrating the dehydrated prepn - Admixing charged material with the rehydrated prepn Wherein the ion concn gradient is produced by encapsulating in the liposomes a first medium having a first concn of an ion, & then suspending the liposomes in second medium having second concn of the ion & the liposome prepn contains protective sugars at both inside & outside surfaces of the liposome membranes |
