Philadelphia-based specialty chemical maker Rohm and Haas Co. has formed a strategic alliance with Omnova Solutions of Fairlawn, Ohio, to provide surface treatment products to the paper and paperboard industries. Omnova develops products such as emulsion polymers and decorative and functional surfaces. The two companies will work together to provide a portfolio of complementary surface treatment products like acrylic emulsions, pigments and paper coating additives. The companies also plan to combine sales, service and supply chain resources. |
