Avecia plant wins approval SPOTLESS A lab in Avecia's DNA medicines facility in Grangemouth, Scotland. AVECIA PHOTO Avecia's oligonucleotides plant in Grangemouth, Scotland, has passed inspection by the U.K.'s Medicines & Healthcare Regulatory Authority. Because MHRA has European Union-wide recognition, Avecia says the plant is now the only DNA medicines facility to be recognized across the EU. The firm's plants in Grangemouth and Milford, Mass., have combined oligonucleotide capacity of almost 600 kg per year. |
