These resins have been developed for the fabrication of glass fiber reinforced plastics and polymer concretes widely used for sailing boats, tanks, plates, piping, beams, rods and electrolytic cells among many other types of structures where outstanding chemical and mechanical resistance is required. Unsaturated polyester include orthophthalic, isophthalic, chlorendic and bisphenolic type resins. |
