PATENT CLAIMS Cultivation process
- Prepg a fermentation mixt by placing an inoculum of "Baci
llus polyfermenticus" (I) strain SCD KCCM10104 into liquid
production medium comprising (a) Glucose (1-3%); (b)
Corn starch (1-5%) & Soybean flour (1-5%) & (c) Trace ele
ments comprising mono-K phosphate (0.05-0.5%), di-K
phosphate (0.05-5%), CaCl2.2H2O (0.05-5%); MgSO4.7H2O
(0.01-1%); CuSO4.5H2O (0.001-0.01%); MnSO4 (0.001-0.01%
Fe(III) sulfate.7H2O (0.001-0.01%) & ZnSO4.7H2O (0.001-
0.01%)
- Cultivating strain in the fermentation mixt under aerobic con
ditions at 30-37C & pH 6.8-7.2 in fed-batch manner wherein
after the glucose in mixt is consumed, supplying additional
glucose to bring glucose concn to 1 %
- Recovering (I) strain cells from fermentation mixt
